Curriculum

The multi-unit Panama Experience teaching modules were created by the Milwaukee Public School teachers that  participated in the Panama Experience program. The teachers then tested these modules in class and revised them according to the feedback that the received from their students.

 

The teaching modules focus on ecology and environmental science and are aligned with Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards. However, the teaching modules can be modified for a variety of classroom needs.

The teacher authored and tested study units are organized below by grade band. The units are interdisciplinary in nature and easily adaptable and implemented in a variety of teaching settings.
